A later version of Southern Pacific contained ex-Creedence members. They tried in the early 90s and bombed. Everyone thought they'd hitch their wagon to former Byrd Chris Hillman's brief success in country with his band Desert Rose.
I don't remember any Paul Butterfield association with anything titled Southern Pacific.

A bus full of Austrian pilgrims crashed in Croatia on Wednesday, but nobody got injured.
The bus full of Austrians was heading to Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina when it crashed into a fence along the highway close to Sestanovac in southern Croatia. There were 47 pilgrims on the bus.
Medjugorje marks the 30th anniversary since the apparition of the Virgin Mary to six school youngsters as reported tagza.com.
Medjugorje is one of the hamlets of the Western Herzegovina municipality of Citluk in the previous Yugoslavia. The name Medjugorje is Slavic and means "area between 2 moutains". This real life story occurs in the Bijakovici section of Medjugorje. On the afternoon of June 24, 1981, 2 girls, Ivanka Ivankovic, age fifteen, and Mirjana Dragicevic, age sixteen, were coming back home from a walk. Looking toward the hill called Crnica, Ivanka saw a bright silhouette of a lady. She said to Mirjana, "It is the Gospa!" (Our Lady).
On June 25, the two girls returned to the hill with 4 others. Their names are, Vicka Ivankovic, age sixteen, Ivan Dragivevic, age sixteen, Maria Pavlovic, age sixteen and Jakov Colo, age 10. A figure in white was calling them to come up the hill. The youngsters were somehow transported in some confusing way to a gorgeous Lady who calls herself, the Queen of Peace. The Lady gives messages to the seers for the whole world. To date, the Queen of Peace has left thousands of messages. At first, the messages were almost daily. Now, for the past a few years, they come on the 25th of every month.
The idealists describe Our Lady as stunning beyond words ; glowing with holiness. Her talks with the kids have taken the type of motherly sensitiveness and love, and she took the task of both mother and catechist in advising and directing their lives. She greets them with, "Praised be Jesus, my dear children." At the end of the apparition she says, "Go in peace, my dear children." She appears to the 6 idealists as a three dimensional real image and always appears among brilliant flashes of light.
Her appearances generally happen about 6:40 pm every day. In Medjugorje, masses of people come daily at this time to participate in the event with prayer, song, the rosary and the Mass, which is often concelebrated by thirty or more priests. The entire evening service lasts about three hours. And this has been taking place daily since 1981!
All the idealists declare in substance :
We see the Sanctified Virgin as we see all other folks. We pray, we speak with her and we touch her.
She stressed : "Peace in the world is in a condition of crisis. Humankind must be reconciled with Our Lord God and with one another."
She promises us she will leave a visible sign at the place of the apparitions in Medjugorje, for all humanity.
The Blessed Mum promised to confide strategies to us.
This time, this period of grace, is urgent. After the detectable sign, those still living will have little time for conversion.
Because of this, the Blessed Virgin invites us to urgent reconciliation and conversation.
The Blessed Mum continues to invite us to prayer and fasting : "You have forgotten that with prayer and fasting you can stop a war from going down. You can suspend natural laws."
Our Lady started imparting systems to the idealists in Medjugorje very early on. She has told the idealists that each one of them would receive ten methods. Our Lady has imparted these secrets to the 6 idealists gradually over these past 18 years. Three idealists have received all ten, and afterwards, they have stopped having the daily apparition with Our Lady. The other three each have 9. The secrets pertain to the idealists themselves, to the Church, to the sign, to all humanity, and to everybody, and to the whole world and to Medjugorje.
